Propagation

"Propagation" is a sculpture by Jason Langer, '91 was dedicated in September 1991, east of Anderson Complex. The art piece stands nearly nine feet tall and was moved east of Luther Library in 1998, when the "center mall" sidewalk was widened and fountain added. Much thought was given to naming the sculpture. Propagation means the spreading of ideas. The piece of art is supposed to broaden people's horizons by making them think. Even if the person looking at the creation does not understand or even like it, it hopefully will make him or her think.
