Individualized Counseling Services

Special counseling services that supplement the faculty advising program are provided in academic matters by the Dean of the College, Vice President of Student Development, and the Office of the Registrar; in solving financial problems or securing part-time employment by the financial aid director; and in maintaining health by the college nurse. Guidance in spiritual understanding is offered by the college pastor. Counseling in social living, individual accountability and personal problems is provided by Student Development and Midland’s student counselors.

International students are assisted by the Vice President of Student Development and director of counseling. Students interested in study or work abroad are assisted by the foreign study advisor. Students planning to attend graduate school are assisted by the Dean of the College, professors within the student’s major department, and the Career Development Center.
