Health Service
A health information record is required from each new student upon acceptance to MLC for use by Student Health. Health Records are maintained by the college nurse. The Health Service is required to meet medical standards set by the Nebraska State Health Department. See the Student Handbook for specific information. The nurse is available in the health center at stated times. All students are required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage. Such evidence may either be a valid certificate of family coverage or a policy the student has purchased.
