Federal Pell Grants

The Pell Grant is a federal aid program which provides grants to students for each undergraduate year. Students apply for Pell Grant consideration by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Eligible students receive the Pell Grant as a part of their official financial aid package awarded by the Financial Aid Office. The FAFSA may be obtained from high school guidance offices or Midland’s Financial Aid Office, or may be accessed on the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG)

The Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is a federal aid program which provides assistance for students with substantial financial need. Students must be attending at least half-time and be making satisfactory academic progress toward completion of a degree.
