Special Fees
Audit — Persons may audit a course for a registration fee of $5 and a $285 per credit hour.
Transcript — Transcripts are $5 each. Transcripts cannot be issued for balance due accounts.
Commencement — A commencement fee of $100 is charged to cover general expenses of graduation, including the rental of caps and gowns. This fee is required of all graduating seniors prior to commencement.
Interterm — Some Interterm courses may have special fees. If so, such fees are stated in the Interterm Bulletin and are payable at the time of final Interterm registration.
Overload — Students are charged $515 per credit hour above 17 credit hours in each semester.
Registration and Change of Schedule — $25 is charged for late registration effective at 5 p.m. on the first day of classes. A charge of $5 is made for each change of schedule beginning with the second week.
Testing Out — By special arrangement, students may seek college credit by taking a departmental examination to demonstrate competency gained through previous experience. A non-refundable charge of $15 is assessed for each examination. Upon passing the examination, the student is charged $520 per credit-hour for credit earned.
Music — Special fees are charged for private music lessons in voice, piano, organ and orchestral instruments at to be determined by the College for one half-hour lesson per week per term. Music majors receive one half-hour lesson per week free of charge, but pay for any additional private lessons.
