iMpact Students
Students seeking to complete their college education can apply for admission online. Students must submit their high schools transcripts along with transcripts from previously attended colleges.
College work completed at an institution accredited by one of the regional accrediting associations, North Central, New England, Middle States, Northwest, Southern or Western, may be applied toward a degree at Midland Lutheran College provided the transfer courses correspond reasonably to those offered at Midland, and that a grade of “C-” or above has been earned in these courses. Acceptance of credit from unaccredited institutions cannot be assured, although exceptions are made in the case of certain special purpose institutions such as Bible colleges accredited by the American Association of Bible Colleges and nursing schools accredited by the National League for Nursing. Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credit hours from an accredited community or junior college. In certain situations, transfer credit may be accepted provisionally and then validated by additional evidence, such as satisfactory work in residence. Final determination is made by the Office of the Registrar.
iMpact students are required to follow the regular admissions procedure, including the submission of an official high school transcript and an official transcript from each college attended. ACT scores are not required of transfer students. A minimum of a 2.0 GPA is required for acceptance.
