Advanced Placement and College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

The Advanced Placement Program and the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) of the College Entrance Examination Board and the Proficiency Examination Program (PEP) of the American College Testing Service are advanced placement and credit by examination programs recognized at Midland Lutheran College.

Official exam results must be sent from the testing agency to the Office of the Registrar.  Evaluation for credit rests with the Office of the Registrar and the department in which the subject is offered. Credit will be awarded based on the American Council of Education’s recommendations. Students are encouraged to take subject exams.  Full academic credit for such work will not be granted until the student has successfully completed at least one term at Midland.
