Founded in 1883 and a product of both college and church mergers; Midland is affiliated with the Nebraska and Rocky Mountain Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Location
Fremont, Nebraska, a community of approximately 25,000 situated about 25 miles northwest of Omaha and an hour’s drive from Lincoln, the capital of Nebraska.
Student Profile
Approximately 1,000 students from more than 24 states and several foreign nations, most of whom graduated in the top one-third of their high school classes. Faculty: 50 members full time and more than 40 members part-time, many of whom have earned doctorates and have distinguished themselves professionally within their disciplines; student/faculty ratio is approximately 15:1.
Academic Programs
Nearly 50 majors and pre-professional programs leading to one of five degrees. Traditional day student and weekend adult programs are offered.
Campus
A 33-acre campus with 18 buildings including the 26,000 square-foot Kimmel Theatre, the remodeled Olson Student Center, and a new 44,000 square-foot Events Center for Athletics and Conferencing.
